Disposable Events ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
Information We Collect
For Event Organizers
- Account information: Email address and name when you sign up via Google OAuth.
- Event data: Event title, description, start/end times, and photos uploaded by guests.
- Payment data: Payment processing is handled by Lemon Squeezy — we never see your credit card details.
For Event Guests
- Guest token: A random anonymous token stored in your browser's localStorage. No personal information is collected.
- Photos: Photos you take are uploaded and stored for 90 days after the event ends.
- Nickname: An optional nickname you can provide when taking photos.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Disposable Events service
- To create and manage events
- To store and display photos taken during events
- To communicate with event organizers about their events
- To improve our service
Data Retention
Photos are stored for 90 days after the event ends. After this period, all photos are permanently deleted from our servers and storage. Event metadata (title, dates, guest count) may be retained for analytics purposes.
Data Storage
All photos are stored on Hetzner Object Storage in Nuremberg, Germany (EU). Database data is hosted on Supabase (AWS eu-central-1). Your data never leaves the European Union.

Cookies
